FOLLOWING THE GOLDEN RULE
Our office philosophy is to treat our patients the way we would want to be treated. We aim to care for you as if you were our mother, sister, brother, or favorite uncle, and to keep our fees reasonable while giving you the highest quality of care.
I enjoy meeting people, and helping to change their perceptions of dentistry. When I’m able to assist in erasing memories of bad experiences and help a patient work through their dental phobia.
Being afraid of the dentist can cause a person to avoid visits for years, and lead to serious dental problems. Because of the connection between oral health and overall body health, when a person’s mouth is no longer healthy, the body suffers, too. We are able to help your mouth and body get in better shape.
With today’s technologies and treatments, as well as our ability to offer sedation, there is never any reason a patient needs to worry about coming to see me. I will ensure everyone is treated with respect; I’ll listen to your fears and proceed at a speed at which you are comfortable.
It’s an incredible feeling, professionally and personally, when a patient smiles and thanks me at the end of a visit, and says: “This isn’t like any other office I’ve been to; you all are so nice!”
CONTINUING EDUCATION
I regularly exceed the minimum requirements set by the Ohio State Dental Board for continuing education (CE) courses. Most of my CE focuses on oral surgery, implants, head and neck pain, headaches, and general medicine. I’m particularly interested in the connection between dental and overall health.
Through learning about general healthcare in addition to dental, I’m able to care for the whole patient and direct people to other professionals when needed.
By attending lectures, conferences, and seminars, as well as participating in study clubs and staying current with the latest research findings, I ensure the best experience for my patients. They trust me to provide the highest quality of care, and I am committed to doing so.
AWAY FROM THE OFFICE
My wife Missy and I have been married for more than 25 years and we have four children — Marty, Nickie, Julie, and Aaron — as well as a dog, named Chuck, and two cats, Smaug and Pamn. I like to spend time outdoors: golfing, fishing, camping, hiking, or working in the garden.
My life’s passion has been to be a good father and husband, and to raise children who are God-fearing and who contribute to society.
